So this is picture of some of my favorite socks at the moment! The rainbow toe sock on the left was a Christmas gift from my in-laws and the purple striped one on the right was a Christmas gift from Jonas. No, i don't normally wear two un-matching socks at the same time. Jonas took this picture and i think he did a great job!

I'd also like to mention something my great friend Nathan Chunn brought up when I told him about this blog adventure. There are some people out in this world that believe socks have "SOLE" mates. so fresh from the package when the socks are brand new, each sock gets numbered. It's sort of like giving each sock a Sock Security Number. When you are doing laundry and matching the socks, you put a "1" with a "1" or an "A" with an "A" if you have a D and a C even though they may look exactly the same, you can not match them because they are not sole mates! I believe this falls under the sick twisted and wrong category :-) I believe that if none of your socks are the same in the first place, you should have no trouble matching them at all!

That being said, please don't hesitate to send me any socks at all! numbered or un-numbered, baby socks, dog socks, knitted socks, adult socks, church socks with lace or slipper socks with the grips on the bottom. I can't wait to save your lost soles!

Seeking the lost

So I've been a fan of socks for years. I've not personally worn plain white socks since 6th grade! I just love to wear fun socks! After seeing Julie and Julia, and reading Post secret, I thought, I CAN DO THAT! So here's what i'm going to do. Send me your unmatched socks

I will accept your own fictional stories regarding the lost "sole mate" or i might make up a story of my own, the pretty ones will probably be sewn into an afghan or quilt or something!

I hope to post pictures of my collection!
